Lycée français Jules Verne (Johannesburg)

The Lycée faced a number of concurrent issues: stagnating numbers of applications for admission, the practical challenges of running a split campus (between Johannesburg and Pretoria), and the redevelopment plan of the main school site. Turenne Consulting was appointed by the board of governors to analyse the school’s market positioning versus local and international competition and elaborate recommendations to improve enrolment at both campuses. Strategic advice included the analysis of a recently carried out parents’ satisfaction survey as well as a review of the organisational structure including governance. A feasibility study was also instructed to assess the market potential of expanding the primary school in Pretoria into a lower secondary school.
