Vaibhav Mathur

Vaibhav Mathur is an education sector focused management consultant with consultancy experience in South Asia, South-East Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Vaibhav has worked with clients in K-12 education, higher education, and skill development/ TVET, in ed-tech and with education sector focused investors.

Some of his key assignments include: developing the vision, strategy and implementation plan for a greenfield university in India, the design of a large-scale education transformation programme in Tanzania, performance improvement of a leading Russian university, and investment due diligence for sovereign skills fund.

In his earlier roles Vaibhav was an Engagement Manager at Deloitte Consulting where he consulted the government, foundations and private sector organizations. He also led a public school transformation programme and also taught in an affordable private school as a Teach for India fellow.

In 2018 Vaibhav decided to set up his boutique strategy management practice to assist international companies with their market entry strategy and advised mid-sized businesses in scaling operations.

As an associated consultant, Vaibhav has worked on a number of assignments in collaboration with Turenne Consulting in the K-12 sector, such as the market expansion strategy for a French bilingual international school, or in the higher education spectrum with the financial review of a university in the Middle East.

He holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, as well as an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta. He is fluent in English and is learning French.
