Laurent Batut
Laurent Batut started his career in a secondary school as an English teacher. After his final qualification he joined the University of Strasbourg where he became assistant professor after having completed his PhD.
Since 1998 Laurent has acquired a comprehensive knowledge of the French education system and the international education market. He has therefore interacted with stakeholders such as parents, the business community, state authorities and regulatory bodies.
Laurent has lived in London since 2010 and had successfully collaborated with Frederic when he was the Cultural Attache at the French Embassy to the UK. They both actively contributed to the opening of Collège français bilingue de Londres in 2011 and of Lycée international de Londres Winston Churchill in 2015.
As an associate consultant, Laurent has joined Turenne Consulting in 2016 to focus on assignments involving curriculum design and strategic planning.
Laurent has successfully worked in very diverse environments and has a clear understanding of the most recent evolutions in education. Laurent speaks fluent English and good Spanish along with his native French.
